Football, No Sleep, and the big 3-0.

So my blog has been VERY neglected lately.  As many of you know our football season is quickly approaching and since I am the scheduler/office manager/phone answerer extrordinaire life has been a little hectic lately.  On top of all of that I have a toddler who has decided that sleep is just not her thing.  Some nights she is up until 10 other nights until 1:30am because she has to go potty, needs me to talk to her, needs medicine, needs to read a book or is just plain screaming and crying and throwing every distraction in the book at me.  It has really gotten out of hand.  I have made an appointment at the sleep center at the hospital by our house so MAYBE they can help us with our issue.  Unfortunately for me and my little one they can't get us in until Feb 22nd:(.  And I am PRAYING that our insurance covers this..hmmm maybe I should call now..
Anyways, on the positive side I had a fun night last weekend:) My bday (the big 3-0) is this weekend and since my husband will be busy with football all weekend he took me out last Saturday.   My mom watched Bailey (and Fletch) because Matt booked us a room at the Westin.. so we packed them up in the car and off we went!

We ate dinner and then did a little gambling..which we never do but its fun every once in a while...well its fun if you win and we didn't so we decided to call it a night!  Our wedding reception was at the Westin (6 years ago - wow!) so we love to stay there!  It was supposed to be a surprise but Matt left the confirmation up on the computer so I kind of saw it one day..ooops:(

Oh and for my bday my mom let me go shopping with her credit card!!!!!!!!!!!  Woo hoo!  Haven't done that since high school?  And that was long long ago friends...  I remember that they would call my mom from the store and/or my mom would give me a note that said it was ok to use her card...thank goodness for pin numbers now:)  And thanks Mom!!  I needed that retail therapy to help me with my lack of sleep:)
