This one's for you dad

My poor father always wanted me to be a star soccer player. Scratch that, a star anything player. Instead I was the girliest of girls and was not into sports AT ALL. So I thought I would post pictures of Bailey's latest achievements from her cute little school.
Also, for all of you mommies out there I found a cool website.. its called www.mamabargains.com and they only sell one product at a time, but every item that they sell is heavily discounted..and it is usually really good stuff! I haven't bought anything from them yet, but it is kind of addicting to keep checking in to see what they have at the moment. So if you are in the market for baby gear, check it out!

Seattle

We're home!

We just got back from one of Matt's best friends Ricky's wedding in Seattle.  We had the best time and I love love Seattle.  I know it is supposed to rain a lot there but of the 5 days we were there it only rained once {unfortunately on the day of the wedding} but the wedding was still gorgeous even though they had to move it indoors.  It was also our first vacation without Bailey..and even though it was nice to get to sleep in and hang out with actual adults I still missed her terribly.  We were supposed to come home yesterday and our flight got canceled due to the fact that our airplane I think had caught on fire on the way to the gate {so I guess I'm glad they didn't put us on it}..HOWEVER they put us up in the worst hotel I have ever seen or SMELLED...thanks American! We ended up walking down the road to a different hotel because it really was that bad.  We finally got home today and I couldn't wait to go and pick up Bailey!!!!  She was so excited to see us even though I know she had a great time with all of her grandparents!!!  {Thanks Mom and Biermanns!!}

the space needle...I pictured it right in the middle of downtown...but not so much...

Seattle was so great...if you haven't been there before it was a great city with lots to do..I wish we would have had more time to spend there!!

Bailey's 2nd Birthday and House renovation

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted anything on the good old Daily Bailey.  Not really because I havent had anything to talk about because we really have been pretty busy.  Remember my red dining room that I talked about way back when?  Well that is still a work in progress.  I just finished recovering the chairs and am almost done painting the walls to {what I think} is the prettiest shade of blue ever.  We are currently in the process of getting crown molding put in our dining room and office so that has got the front of my house kind of torn up.
Other than that Wednesday was little Ms. Baileys 2nd birthday!!  I took her to school for just a half day.  They had a big sign when she walked in the room saying "Happy Birthday Bailey!" which I thought was cute.  We brought cupcakes for all of the little kiddies in her class and I think they all enjoyed them:)  Then later in the day I took her for a haircut because she wanted to go.  I mentioned it and she kept telling me she wanted to go SO we went on her birthday.  And then we went to Toys R us with my mom and got her lots of presents that she picked out all by herself.  After that we went out for mexican food and then called it a night.  I think fun was had by all.

I will post pictures once all of the stuff in my dining room is complete...maybe early next week hopefully:)
