My weekend

Saturday was a busy busy day...lots of errands and my friend Jessica's bachlorette party! It is pretty hard to run errands these days with Bailey...she never wants to sit still and riding in her stroller/or shopping cart for too long is just unacceptable to her. Thankfully I have my mom who comes with me a lot so I can actually get some stuff accomplished. One thing I wanted to do on Saturday was to get Bailey's big girl bed! She isnt going to need it until she is 2( 4 1/2 months away) but the bed I wanted was on sale and they take forever to come in (they say 8 weeks but I dont believe it). It comes in a couple of different colors but I got black. I know its kind of dark for a little girls room...but I have a vision:) I'll post pictures months from now when her room is done!

I also had to go to the grocery store..and got this funny video of Bailey pushing a miniature grocery cart all around the store (how cool that they have mini carts..another reason to love Trader Joes!)

If anyone knows how I can change this video to be right side up let me know...I tried every way I know how.

Then later on that night was my friend Jessica's bachlorette party which was so much fun. We went out for sushi (which I have finally decided is not my thing) and then went to a fun bar/club afterwards. I had to go home early of course because I had football the next day:( but it was so fun and Im glad that I got to get out a little bit! And Im thankful to my mom for watching b over night!

EASTER

I was going to post all of my Easter pictures last night but was way too tired. It was a long but fun day. Bailey had so much fun looking for Easter eggs with her super cool Elmo basket..Elmo is her FAVORITE thing right now. She was really good at finding eggs and wasnt afraid to get dirty to find them..in this way she is not like her mom:)

My only complaint was the weather! Bailey had the cutest dress to wear but I had to cover it up with a sweatshirt because it was so cold..

Anyways, here are a few pics from our day!
I gave Bailey a milk chocolate ducky

Here is Matts gift from the Easter bunny

Getting Bailey ready (just velcro rollers not hot rollers)

THE END! Hope everyone had a great Easter!

Girls Day Out x 2

Girls Day Out 1:

My mom and I got to go out shopping the other day without Bailey..so we decided to go to a bunch of little shops in Webster/Kirkwood area. There are so many cool little shops and we had so much fun..My favorite though was this cute little shop in Kirkwood called Lass & Laddie. Everything in the store is hand made childrens clothing and it is so cool (Natalie YOU have to go to this store, Im pretty sure you would be obsessed with it just like me). My mom got Bailey the cutest shirt..it rocks. All and all we had lots of fun.

Girls Day Out 2:

Heather, Adelle, Bailey and I went to the zoo today! We had a lot of fun but it was a little chilly and rained on us for the last 10 minutes.. Here are a few pics from today:

Oh and Natalie we missed you! Hope you feel better! We will go again soon..

Its Spring!! I think??

Bailey and I have been having so much fun now that we are finally having some nice weather. She keeps wanting to go "side" which for her means outside. We were out at my grandparents the other day and took some pictures out by my grandma's pretty flowers..I wish that my yard looked like hers but it is far, far, from it.
Today was supposed to be warm but I guess it only got up to 65 which still isn't warm enough for me..because I was cold all day in capris and flip flops.. However I guess its supposed to be 35 or something on Monday so I shouldnt complain:(
The worst part about today was that at church tonight Bailey barfed all over the childcare center so they had to shut off a whole section of the area where the babies all play so they could sanitize..At church they give you a number when you check in your child and if they flash it up on the screen during the service that means you need to come and get your kid! Today I think was the first day that actually happened to us. The poor lady that handed Bailey to me had throw up all over her shirt..I felt so bad. They had to put a little kids shirt from the lost and found on Bailey because her shirt was so messed up...it was pitiful but kind of funny at the same time because Bailey was fine after she threw up..must have been something she ate?? Does that mean that my cooking really is that bad??

Baileys First Haircut

A couple of days ago I took Bailey for her very first haircut. I was a little terrified because as a child I had many terrible haircuts (thank you mom)..so I was very afraid she was going to end up looking dorky..(I know impossible for a toddler, but seriously you should have seen some of the horrible bangs I had as a little kid). Anyways..I took her to a place called the Hairy Elephant and it was AWESOME. Bailey got to sit in a little car while a very nice lady named "Ms. Jessica" cut her hair AND she got to watch Elmo on a DVD. Ms. Jessica even blew bubbles at Bailey the one and only time she got a little flustered and wanted down from her car. It was great. She came home with a little certificate with a lock of hair and her picture after she got her hair done..it was so cute. It is such a cute little place. They even have their own little styling products that they sell which is genius. Of course Bailey came home with new California Baby Shampoo and Body Wash for sensitive skin ( I dont think she has sensitive skin but that is what the lady recommended.) Needless to say when we left Bailey had a little temper tantrum because she didnt want to leave this wonderful new place called the Hairy Elephant.

Also last week we took our first trip to Chuck E Cheese...we went with my friend Natalie who is the mom of Bailey's friends Bianca and Skylar. It was a lot of fun but I think I was way more worn out than Bailey was when all was said and done.

Also, I am trying to quit my Diet Coke habit...crazy right??? I have made it all day (yes this is the first day and may be the last) so wish me luck! It is SO hard:(

Here are a few pics of Bailey getting her hair cut....
