We're Baaaack...

So it has been 6 months since I have posted anything...and in case you didn't notice I had to change the title to my little blog because..
We had a BABY..a baby boy in fact.  His name is Braden and he is about the cutest thing ever.  Let me catch you up..
First Born

1 month
2 months
3 months
  4 months
A few more:
We also took Bailey and Braden to a photographer when Braden was 10 days old.  At the moment I can't find the disc with all of those pictures:(  But when I do I will post those, they are really good!

Bailey is the best big sister.  I'm pretty sure there is no one on the planet that she loves more than her baby bro.  The first time she met him she immediately started singing twinkle twinkle little star to him..and it has been non stop hugs, baby talk, and lots of kisses ever since.

Fast Forward to now:

Can you believe how big he is!!??  I can't..I swear he's going to be bigger than Bailey by one year and Bailey is not going to be happy about it:)

Our precious pup Fletcher passed away in May.  He was the most amazing and sweetest dog, and anyone who ever met him would agree.  He was my first baby and we miss him so much.  He was with us since before we got married, when we moved into our first house, and with us when we had both of our babies..losing him has been so sad..he was truly my best bud and it is so hard to come home and have him not be there.  He put up with all of the craziness in our lives like starting a business and us having less time for him and then having two kids and having even less time for him.  He was the best big brother to Bailey and didn't mind when she dressed him up and put necklaces or princess crowns on him or chased him around with her baby stroller.  He didn't mind being tripped over or stepped on when Bailey was trying out her new gymnastics flip or dance move.  No matter what he loved us and was his happiest when he was just at home relaxing and snoozing next to his family.  Oh, and he was the handsomest boy ever I should also add.  Love you Fletcher.  Hope you have been getting your balloons Bailey has been sending you up in Heaven.

We thought about selling  our house..
We found a house we loved and wanted to move only if we could sell our house and move into that house.  About a week after we got our house on the market the house we wanted sold...here are some pictures from the ad for our house..I thought it looked pretty nice:)

So now that we are staying here for a while we have some big plans for our house (or at least I do, I'm not sure if Matts on board yet:)  First project includes that icky fireplace in the bottom picture!

Bailey had her first dance recital.  It was so fun to watch.  Seriously if you have a baby girl or are having a baby girl (Jen:)  it is definitely something to look forward to!!  They work so hard all year and then the recital comes and they look so cute in their little outfits and they get up on stage and forget almost all of the moves they are supposed to do..and it is about the cutest thing you will ever see in your life.

More to come soon!

2011

I don't really have any huge New Years Resolutions.
But if I had to name a few I guess I would say..
1.  Get back into shape {after the baby comes}
2.  Try not to let the fact that Matt is working non stop make me a crazy person by 2012.
3.  Have patience and enjoy every moment with our new baby boy and our sweet little girl.
4. And get organized!!!
Hope everyone had a great New Year!!

Baby Boy Room

After many months of deliberation we have finally picked out a few things for the baby room..
Shopping and decorating for a baby boy is much harder {in my opinion} than for a girls room.  Just thought I would share a few things that will be in there...
 This is his new bed {don't pay attention to the bedding..of course that will be sports related:)}
 To go on the walls:

Nope his name won't be Paxton...it will say Braden and have footballs under it NOT baseballs of course.  But you get the idea:)

We haven't actually purchased the rug yet but will soon..
And there are a few other things that will be in there that I didn't include..
but just wanted to give a preview:)
This is definitely a change from pink and purple!!

December Wrap-up

Here are a few highlights from our very crazy December:

Bailey took the Super Sibling Class at the hospital where I will be having the baby.  The class was just a short one hour class where little kids learn a little bit about what it is going to be like being a big bro/sis.  There were about 7 other kids in the class including Bailey's good friend Emma so she had a great time!

This is the video of her practicing holding the baby:)

This was the little puppet they used that was the "big sister"..she told all of the kids what it is like to have a new baby in the house.

Here is Bailes and Emma:)

Matt bought a Gingerbread Train for he and Bailey to put together.  She thought it was the greatest thing ever and by Christmas there was no candy left on the train..

We had a couple of snow days this December..this was one of them.  Bailey and Matt played outside for a LONG time..and Bailey still cried when she had to come in.

But then it was all better because I made hot chocolate..and it was served in a princess mug which made it that much more FABulous.

Bailey saw Santa:)

My side of the family came over on the 23rd and we had Christmas...lots of mass chaos with kids opening lots and lots of presents.  It was SO fun!

Christmas Eve we went over to Matts parents house where Bailey loaded up on even more presents.  We had a great time and I forgot my camera:(
This picture was taken after Bailey went to bed and when I caught Santa eating cookies in our family room! (icaughtsanta.com)  First thing Bailey said when she saw this is, "Mom why is Santa watching TV?"  good question..next year I will remember to turn the TV off!

Here is Bailey and her Bitty Baby (American Girl doll lingo for those of you who don't know:)  they got matching tutus for Christmas!

This guy was super tired from all of the present opening
Nan, Bailey, and Grammy Kim
 Grammy Sue, Bailey, and Grampy

So that is pretty much it...or at least all of the pictures that I feel like uploading today.
Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

My Little Guy

A couple of days ago Matt and I went to get 4D Ultrasound pictures of Baby Boy Biermann (no, still no name:(  )  The pictures turned out great and the lady who did the ultrasound said he is perfect.  I thought I would share some of the pictures..for those of you who don't look at ultrasound pictures on a regular basis when the picture looks wavy or blurred just remember he is in fluid and is moving around quite a bit:)

Isn't he cute???!!!

Oh and if anyone has any ideas on baby boy names let me know...  I never thought I would be a person who could go to the hospital to have her baby and STILL not know the name but it is looking more and more like that everyday.  And I really want to personalize a few things in his room like this or this.  My goal is to have a name by the end of this week!!  So if you have any ideas send them my way..

Excuses

I need my polka dot blanket
I need my bitty baby
I need Lamby
I need water
This water tastes icky I need different water
 I need to go potty
 My throat hurts
 My bottom hurts
You only read two stories we should read 3
What's inside a pillow mom?
Tell me a story

This is what I hear every night as I am trying to put this girl to bed.  We
are struggling with bed time.  I lose a little bit
more of my mind every night between about
8 and 10pm.  Tonight I put her in bed at 8pm and it is
now officially 9:57pm
and thankfully Matt just got home from work to
help because my patience is
wearing thin:)  I think it ran out
somewhere around 8:45.

Besides our bedtime struggles I did want to add a
few Halloween pictures:)

We all had a great time..it was tons of fun
watching Bailey really get after it this
year with the trick or treating.
She was all about the candy!!  We have SO
much candy in our house right now...I
need to get rid of it..and not by eating it!
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
